Products and systems for ventilation and environmental control in mining and tunnelling worldwide have been evidence for quality and innovation under the trademark of “Schauenburg Flexadux“ for more than 50 years.

At several locations worldwide a wide range of ventilation ducting is manufactured out of flexible coated plastic fabric, FRP or steel using special technologies. The range of ducting is complemented by storage cassettes, silencers, fans, dust collectors and cooling equipment. Methane drainage pipes and hoses as well as gas measuring instruments are designed for health and safety underground and are in use in a lot of mines and tunnels around the world.

Using specialized plastic materials and process technologies, unique products for industrial applications are designed and manufactured to customer specifications to meet strict standards like strength, fire retardancy or light weight. We individually design and produce FRP ducting and other composite products for special applications such as in the offshore, chemical, mass transit or agricultural industries or other applications, i.e. clean rooms and cooling towers. Amongst the FRP technologies we apply Filament-Winding,
RTM, Pultrusion, Spray-up, Casting and Hand-lay-up.
